Set Your Intention and Plan Your Day Before Bed:

Making up your mind, planning, visualizing and affirming something before you go to bed can help you create a positive expectation and help with the motivation to get up as the alarm beeps for the next morning.

This means that you will have to get out of your bed and move your body to do that. Motion creates energy, so getting out of your bed and walking across the room to turn off your alarm naturally helps you wake up.

People mostly place their alarm clocks near their beds. But that's perfect if you want to hit the snooze button and go back to sleep.

Directly go to the washroom:

Don't check your mobile, don't check your emails, don't check your social media, after turning off your alarm, go directly to the bathroom, splash some warm water on your face, and brush your teeth. Doing these simple motions will help decrease cortisol levels, the stress hormone. Elevating your mood and making you ready for your day.

Time to Hydrate:

After brushing, your mouth is fresh, so it's time to hydrate. After seven to eight hours of sleep without water, you will be mildly dehydrated, which causes fatigue. So drinking a full glass of water is crucial to get you fresh and going.

Bonus Tips:

Make a bedtime Affirmation and keep it next to your bed to help set your intentions each night before you go to sleep. Set a timer for your bedroom light to turn on automatically and also set an auto on a timer for your bedroom heater, these will help reduce friction that keeps you in your bed.
